On September 9, NH Investment & Securities raised its target price for ISU Petasys (007660) from 71,000 won to 81,000 won, citing increasing demand for multilayer substrate products driven by the industry trend toward higher-spec circuit boards.
As of 9:21 a.m., ISU Petasys shares were trading at 70,500 won, up 2.03% from the previous session. The stock reached as high as 71,500 won earlier in the session, marking a new all-time high.
In a research note, analyst Hwang Ji-hyun stated, “The price per square meter of multilayer substrates is about twice that of conventional products. The company plans to gradually expand capacity, raising the proportion of multilayer substrates to 50% by the second half of next year and 70% by the end of 2027.”
Hwang added, “A tour of the Daegu plant on September 5 confirmed the company’s mass-production competitiveness in multilayer substrates. Despite the complexity of production, ISU Petasys is already supplying multilayer substrates for network switches, and yields are stabilizing rapidly.”
He further noted, “Google has announced plans to supply TPU (AI processing) chips to external data centers, while OpenAI has signaled the launch of its own chips, fueling expectations for growth in the ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) market. ISU Petasys is conducting sample testing with major clients, and once mass production begins in 2026–2027, the company could see accelerated revenue growth.”
