KB Securities raised its target price for Hanwha Aerospace from 600,000 won to 830,000 won, an increase of 38.3%, citing favorable business conditions and expected continued earnings growth this year.
Jeong Dong-ik, an analyst at KB Securities explained, “We have updated our estimates to include additional orders, such as 100 units of the India K9, 308 units of the remaining Polish K9, as well as potential new orders for Cheonmu and Redback from new countries, which are now reflected in our 2025-2026 projections.”
He added, “The better-than-expected performance last year was driven by high-order margins from land-based defense exports, the favorable impact of currency fluctuations, increased production, and fixed-cost dilution. This trend is expected to strengthen further, excluding currency effects, and we do not anticipate significant declines in the exchange rate in the near future.”
