Organoid Sciences, seeking to list on the KOSDAQ, held an IPO press conference on June 6 in Yeouido, Seoul.

CEO Yoo Jong-man of Organoid Sciences stated, "Organoids are highly scalable and can be applied across various fields, including regenerative therapy, new drug development, and precision medicine. They will be the game-changer in the healthcare industry." He further added, "As the first domestic company specializing in organoid-based drug development, we will leverage our unique and innovative organoid technology, along with a favorable market environment, to transform the paradigm of the future healthcare industry."

Founded in 2018, Organoid Sciences applies organoid technology, which involves 3D culturing of stem cells to replicate human organs, to develop treatments for intractable diseases and provide solutions for new material evaluation.

Organoids have remarkable regenerative abilities when transplanted into damaged tissues, and their high degree of similarity to the human body makes them valuable models for evaluating the efficacy of new drugs, health supplements, cosmetics, and other new materials.

Organoid Sciences's regenerative therapy technology using organoids was selected as a national advanced strategic technology under the "Act on Special Measures for Strengthening the Competitiveness of, and Protecting National High-Tech Strategic Industries" in 2023, managed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Last year, the company was also recognized as the sole holder of national advanced strategic technology for organoid-based regenerative therapy in Korea.

The company’s flagship products include the organoid-based regenerative therapy "ATORM" and the organoid-based material evaluation solution "ODISEI."

Building on this foundation, Organoid Sciences is actively expanding into global markets, including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Its Vietnam branch serves as a base for organoid production and global ODISEI services, while the German and U.S. branches focus on the commercialization of ATORM and the marketing and sales of the ODISEI solution.

Organoid Sciences plans to offer 1.2 million shares through its IPO, with the per-share price range set between 17,000 and 21,000 won. The demand forecast period for institutional investors is from March 7 to 13, with general public subscription set for March 19 to 20.

Korea Investment & Securities is the lead underwriter for the listing.
