Clobot, a service robot software company, begins its subscription for individual investors for two days from the 16th to 17th.

According to the financial investment industry, Clobot will hold its IPO subscription for individuals over the two days. The confirmed offering price is set at 13,000 per share, and the company is expected to list on the KOSDAQ market on the 28th of this month. Mirae Asset Securities is the lead underwriter.

Founded in 2017 by robotics researchers from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Clobot is a specialist in service robot software. The company has raised a total of 32 billion through investments from Hyundai Motor Group's ZER01NE, NAVER D2SF, and Lotte Ventures, among others. It currently has over 130 clients, including partnerships with major companies such as Hyundai Motor and Boston Dynamics.

Clobot’s key products include the ‘Chameleon,’ a universal indoor autonomous navigation software, and ‘CROMS,’ an integrated control system for managing heterogeneous robots. These solutions are hardware-agnostic, offering indoor autonomous navigation robot services for various applications such as disinfection, security, transport, and guidance. Clobot plans to further enhance its features, aiming to develop a versatile software solution applicable across different domains in the robotics field.

Additionally, Clobot, through its subsidiary ROAS, is working on sourcing and supplying the necessary robot hardware tailored to client needs. The company plans to expand into a Robot-as-a-Service(RaaS) business model, offering customized solutions and sourcing high-quality hardware. To support this strategy, Clobot has established top-tier partnerships with companies like Boston Dynamics.

Clobot has shown consistent growth in its business. The company's consolidated revenue grew from approximately 2.24 billion in 2019 to 24.24 billion in 2023, with an average annual growth rate of 81.2%. In the first half of this year alone, it recorded revenue of 11.55 billion. However, the company posted an operating loss of 5.9 billion during the same period. Clobot expects to turn profitable by 2025, with plans to strengthen its profitability.

Earlier, Clobot conducted an institutional demand forecasting from October 7th to 14th, attracting a record 2,414 institutions, both domestic and international, with a competition rate of 933.85:1, the highest for a single IPO in history. Among the participating institutions, 95.3% submitted bids at or above the confirmed offering price of 13,000 per share, representing 94.5% of the total share volume bid.

The funds raised from the IPO will be used to enhance Clobot’s flagship solutions, Chameleon and CROMS. The company plans to build an integrated logistics system through the seamless connection of robotic equipment and related systems, and it is also preparing to launch total service solutions such as specialized cleaning robots and in-building delivery robots based on its technological expertise.

Clobot is issuing 3 million shares through this IPO, with a total offering amount of 39 billion and an estimated market capitalization of approximately 311.4 billion post-listing.
