Neowiz (095660) reported a sharp improvement in its third-quarter earnings, driven by solid performances across both PC and mobile gaming platforms from new and existing titles.
The company announced on November 12 that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter reached ₩26.5 billion, up 310% from a year earlier. Revenue rose 36.8% year-on-year to ₩127.4 billion, while net profit came in at ₩25 billion, turning to a profit from a loss in the same period last year.
By segment, PC and console game revenue stood at ₩58.7 billion, up 59% from a year earlier and 2.2% from the previous quarter. The steady sales of Lies of P, which launched its first story expansion DLC this year, contributed to the results, along with the success of Shape of Dreams, an indie game published by Neowiz in September that quickly became a popular title on Steam after release.
Mobile game revenue rose 28.1% year-on-year to ₩58.5 billion, supported by deferred revenue from Brown Dust 2’s second-anniversary sales and additional earnings from follow-up in-game events.
Total operating expenses increased 16.5% from a year earlier and 10.4% from the previous quarter to ₩100.9 billion. Variable costs, including platform fees, surged 76.1% to ₩45.3 billion, mainly due to higher sales of Brown Dust 2 and the launch of Shape of Dreams. Personnel expenses fell 4.1% to ₩36.6 billion, while marketing costs dropped 19.2% to ₩8.4 billion.
Neowiz noted that Brown Dust 2 has achieved revenue growth for seven consecutive quarters. The company plans to launch the game on the Steam platform by the end of this year and continue expanding through fan-focused service strategies beyond 2026.
Meanwhile, Lies of P aims to sustain its momentum through major year-end platform promotions for both the base game and its DLC.
Neowiz also announced that it will participate in G-STAR 2025, showcasing SANABI Gaiden: The Haunted Day, a follow-up to its popular indie title SANABI.
*[KOSDAQ] Neowiz(095660) primarily engages in providing various genres of games on online, mobile, and console platforms. The market capitalization is 559.6 billion won (as of November 11, 2025, closing price).
